As a Human Resources Systems Analyst, you will report to the Manager of HR Client Services and possess a strong analytical approach to pinpoint system and process inefficiencies while proposing viable solutions through effective communication and collaboration across various teams. This role provides the flexibility to work remotely while contributing to our HR initiatives.
As part of the HR Service Centre, the HR Systems Analyst is tasked with configuring and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), emphasizing union setup and benefit remittance management. A solid background in managing and configuring HR Information Systems, particularly in unionized settings, is essential. The HR Systems Analyst ensures the smooth integration of union requirements and benefit programs into the HRIS, accurate data management, and robust support for the workforce and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration & Maintenance
Configure and sustain system settings within ADP to address ongoing business requirements. Collaborate with Labour Relations Directors, Account Directors, and HRSC to oversee system modifications and updates concerning union contracts. Comprehend contract stipulations, including collective agreement implications, to guarantee precise setup.Benefit Management:
Administer payments for union employee benefits programs, including health and wellness, retirement, and pension plans. Conduct regular reconciliations of union benefits to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Serve as the primary contact for monthly union benefit remittances. Configure and maintain the benefits module within the HRIS, including supporting documentation. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, collective agreements, and company policies. Analyze discrepancies and resolve issues related to benefit calculations and payments. Work closely with payroll, operations, and finance to ensure accurate forecasting and benefit processing.System Security and Support:
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for ADP users. Develop and maintain user guides and training materials to facilitate system navigation and utilization. Partner with IT and HR Teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance. Document workflows, security specifications, and other HRIS configurations.Auditing and Data Integrity:
Perform routine audits of processes and data to ensure integrity and accuracy. Create and implement an audit plan and checklist to systematically review system operations and data handling. Generate and analyze reports related to union membership, payments, and benefit enrollment. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to enhance HR processes and policies. WHO ARE WE SEEKING?
3-5 years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar capacity. Proven proficiency in analysis, design, and development. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation or progress toward designation is advantageous. Experience in unionized environments and benefits management. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, particularly ADP Workforce Now. Experience with HRIS implementations and upgrades. Advanced expertise in Excel and data analysis tools.
