Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

HML Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and direct the construction of outdoor features, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, including coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, managing inventory and budgets.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in outdoor construction or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
