Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other landscape features.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs, including materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate construction.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in landscape construction, with a strong background in supervisory roles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
