Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational background and relevant experience in long-term care. You must be registered with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant and have completed any additional education required for practice in mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Administer medications and operate related equipment as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and guidelines in long-term care.
