Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bid and Contract Coordinator to join our Business Development team at CB Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating bid submissions, facilitating contract deliverables, and maintaining relationships with our sales and customer program management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bid Coordination
    • Review customer bid specifications and prepare a summary of requirements for NFI Parts business
    • Attend bid strategy meetings with sales team to support NFI Parts bid requirements
    • Modify standard templates to include customer-specific information for final bid proposal submission
  • Contract Management
    • Identify and acquire pricing for bus and coach spare parts as requested in the bid/contract
    • Responsible for maintaining the Bus/Coach Bid Tracker
    • Attend pre-production meetings with Customer Program Management to support NFI Parts contract requirements
    • Facilitate the fulfillment of final customer contract deliverables for all bus/coach contracts with the appropriate NFI Parts teams
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Maintain good working relationships with New Flyer Bus and MCI Coach Sales and Customer Program Management teams
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of contract deliverables
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Bid and Contract experience would be considered an asset
  • Skills
    • Adept with MS office, in particular Microsoft Excel
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication
  • Education
    • Two years or more experience in a manufacturing industry would be considered an asset
