Job Title: Food Store Supervisor

Milton Halal Meat is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that products are accurately priced and stocked.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and minimize losses.
  • Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, well-maintained, and meets health and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
