Job Title: Food Store Supervisor

Milton Halal Meat is seeking a highly skilled Food Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales associates, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
  • Merchandise Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, ensuring that products are accurately priced and stocked.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive shopping environment, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting sales growth through effective merchandising and visual displays.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or stock issues.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to company standards and policies.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a retail or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
