We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Financial Control Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing the financial operations of our firm, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Financial Management: Oversee the firm’s financial records, including payroll, accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Ensure timely processing of vendor invoices and customer payments while maintaining precise financial records.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll schedules, calculate employee compensation, and ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  • Budgeting and Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze budget data, prepare financial statements, and provide insights on budget performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A postsecondary diploma or degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Quickbooks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
