Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a Financial Accounts Specialist to become a vital part of our Finance department. Reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor, this position will manage customer accounts for The Semex Alliance, engaging with a diverse international clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing daily cash transactions
  • Following up on overdue payments
  • Communicating with clients through various channels
  • Reconciling customer accounts
  • Generating invoices and statements
  • Arranging payment terms and plans
  • Implementing and maintaining Corporate Credit Policies
  • Conducting intercompany reconciliations and billing
  • Performing general accounting entries at month-end and year-end
  • Collaborating with auditors during interim and annual audits

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in French is a plus but not mandatory
