Job Title: Intermediate to Senior Civil/Structural Designer

Rally Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate to Senior Civil/Structural Designer to join our team in Sarnia. As a key member of our Civil/Structural Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior designers to develop their skills and become leads on industrial projects.
  • Prepare drawing deliverables, including layout drawings, plans, sections, and details for structural steel and concrete.
  • Develop knowledge of industrial civil/structural drawing delivery and industry standards.
  • Utilize AutoDesk or Microstation programs for 2D and 3D delivery.
  • Proficient in 3D structural modeling and laser scan point cloud file manipulation.
  • In-plant work experience is a significant advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma from a recognized technology program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-15 years of demonstrated experience in executing EPCM/industrial plant projects.
  • Proven experience and proficiency in delivering fit-for-purpose approaches and designs for clients.
  • Excellent soft skills, including communication, multitasking, prioritization, meeting deadlines, organization, customer service, teamwork, and collaboration.
