Job Title: Intermediate to Senior Civil/Structural Designer

Rally Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate to Senior Civil/Structural Designer to join our team in Sarnia. As a key member of our Civil/Structural Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor junior designers to develop their skills and knowledge in civil/structural design.
  • Prepare detailed drawings and deliverables, including layout drawings, plans, sections, and details for structural steel and concrete.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in civil/structural design.
  • Utilize AutoDesk or Microstation programs to create 2D and 3D designs.
  • Develop proficiency in 3D structural modeling and laser scan point cloud file manipulation.
  • Participate in in-plant work and contribute to the development of industrial projects.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma from a recognized technology program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-15 years of experience in executing EPCM/industrial plant projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering fit-for-purpose designs and solutions for clients.
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
