Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Deployment of Data Governance Agenda
    • Accelerate trust and utilization of data across the organization
  • Collaborate to Refine Global Data Quality Framework
    • Drive adoption of the framework by developing playbooks, accelerators, and training partners in data quality concepts
  • Support Leaders in Data Governance Roles
    • Improve data literacy and familiarity with data governance and data quality practices
  • Engage with Partners to Identify Critical Data Elements
    • Set up metrics linking data quality to business value
  • Conduct Hands-on Data Analysis
    • Address high-priority data quality issues from issue identification through root cause analysis to issue resolution
  • Implement Global Data Governance Metrics and Oversight Mechanisms
    • Ensure delivery of target outcomes through the Data Governance program
  • Support Adoption of Data Quality Technology
    • Partner with Technology teams to adopt data quality technology in the Azure Cloud environment and on-prem applications
  • Serve as a Liaison
    • Between the Global Data Governance team and Segment Data offices, Data Owners, and Control Partners
  • Apply Creative Thinking and Contribute to Innovation
    • Monitor new and existing data governance technologies and bring meaningful advancements to the leaders' attention
Requirements
  • 5+ years of data governance and data management experience in a large multinational organization
  • A college/university degree in computer science, engineering, or another technology or quantitative field
  • Mastery of data governance concepts and technologies
  • Familiarity with foundational data architecture concepts and Cloud technology
  • Practical experience with data wrangling, analytics, dashboard design
