Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Medical

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Bramcountry Dental Clinic.

Responsibilities:
  • Interview patients to obtain case histories and maintain accurate records.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
  • Prepare and process insurance claims, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Manage filing systems, maintain inventory, and order supplies as needed.
  • Develop and implement office procedures, ensuring efficient workflows and effective communication.
  • Enter and format medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets, preparing documents for review.
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Prepare draft agendas for meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant parties.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience in a medical administrative role, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Windows, with experience using dictaphones and electronic mail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict protocols.
