Position Overview

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University is seeking an Academic Specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine. This full-time role is situated within the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine, which provides advanced care for maternal and fetal health.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will integrate into a team of ten specialists, contributing to both clinical and research initiatives. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in clinical practice focused on maternal and fetal health.
  • Participating in research, with a commitment of at least two days per week dedicated to scholarly activities.
  • Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess certification (or eligibility for certification) from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be eligible for licensure in Ontario. Candidates with a proven track record in research and those aspiring to leadership roles are particularly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits
