Academic Geriatrician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Academic Geriatrician to join our team at McMaster University.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the clinical and academic success of the Division of Geriatrics and Department of Medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical and academic programs in geriatric medicine
  • Collaborate with faculty members to advance the clinical and academic success of the Division
  • Participate in education and research activities, including teaching and mentoring students and junior faculty
  • Contribute to quality improvement and innovation initiatives in geriatric medicine

Requirements:

  • Eligibility for certification in geriatric medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Independent license through CPSO in the Province of Ontario
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
