Position Overview: We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Q400 Aircraft Configuration and Program Planner. This role is crucial within the Planning Team, primarily focusing on upholding the configuration and program requirements for the Conair Q fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain configurations for parts and components of the Conair Q fleet aircraft.
- Assist in the development of the Q Maintenance Program, enhancing efficiencies and task card relationships.
- Oversee the Conair ERP configuration setup as necessary.
- Create and maintain accurate component records.
- Review and implement requirements from the Q PES Program.
- Evaluate and incorporate all instructions for continued airworthiness into the Aircraft Maintenance Program.
- Support the integration of aircraft maintenance task status into Conair's Maintenance Program and ERP system.
- Interpret additional maintenance requirements from various sources, including engineering and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in defining work scope requirements for aircraft undergoing conversion.
- Review aircraft documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and methodical, with a strong focus on efficiency.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including ADs, service bulletins, and maintenance manuals.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance programs and technical records.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- A committed team player with a focus on deliverables.
Training and Education:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance programs and planning is preferred.
- Experience with materials or enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.
- AME License or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
Eligibility: Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
