Job Summary:

We are seeking four skilled Agricultural Laborers to join our team at FutureLife Agricultural Products Ltd. as General Farm Workers. As a key member of our farm team, you will be responsible for planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops, as well as performing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our farm.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plant crops using hand tools and farm machinery
  • Pick fruits and vegetables
  • Irrigate crops
  • Operate farm machinery to cultivate, fertilize, spray, and harvest
  • Detect disease or problems in crops and apply chemicals to control weed growth, insects, fungus growth, and diseases
  • Maintain farm facilities and infrastructure, including equipment, roads, and other areas
  • Report signs of insect or disease damage
  • Select and pick vegetables according to size and ripeness, and discard rotting and over-ripened produce
  • Grade, sort, bunch, and pack produce into containers
  • Handle heavy loads, load or unload agricultural products into trucks
  • Clean working areas
  • Adhere to hygienic and sanitation policies and follow all safety regulations
  • Perform other tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in farming is an asset
  • Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors for the entirety of the shift
  • Ability to bend, walk, lift, and crouch
  • Excellent physical health
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of quality
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
  • Formal education is not required
  • English is not required
