The General Farm Worker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to crop farming, including applying fertilizers, clearing and collecting brush and debris, cutting agricultural crops, and grading vegetables and fruits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply fertilizers to crops as instructed
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Cut agricultural crops using manual or mechanical equipment
  • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume
  • Hand harvest vegetables and fruits
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Mix fertilizers according to instructions
  • Monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns
  • Pack fruits and vegetables for market
  • Seed cutting and sorting
  • Write daily progress reports
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in crop farming or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
