Job Title: Senior Project Planning Specialist

SGP Purchasing Partner Network is a leading provider of care and services for seniors throughout Canada. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Planning Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Planning Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing national menu plans for all long-term care and retirement clients in the seniors market. This includes working closely with our procurement department, information technology department, and regional dietary consultants to ensure the menu meets or exceeds client expectations and contributes to the profitable growth of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement national menu plans for all long-term care and retirement clients
  • Work closely with procurement department, information technology department, and regional dietary consultants to ensure menu meets client expectations
  • Participate in menu ideation sessions and new vendor administration process
  • Support menu planning days and educational events for clients and suppliers
  • Lead and implement resident opinion surveys and facility feedback to aid in ongoing menu planning and development
  • Manage data in computerized menu system to analyze food costing, new product links, and nutritional content
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years operational experience in seniors market in long-term care or retirement
  • Post-secondary school studies in food and nutrition
  • Registered dietitian or experience with MealSuite Menu Software an asset
  • Valid driver's license and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed, with solid project management skills
  • Customer-focused with high emphasis on building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry
