Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at KOR Korean Street Food. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, including presentation, taste, and temperature.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and quality standards.
    • Standing for extended periods and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Initiative and ability to take on additional responsibilities.
Working Conditions
