We are seeking a reliable and organized Automotive Assistant to join our team at SANDHER TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR LTD. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to our tradespersons and apprentices in various tasks related to the repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities- Assist tradespersons and apprentices with tasks such as moving equipment, signaling safety procedures, and cleaning machines and work areas.
- Help with installation, maintenance, and repair of trucks and trailers.
- Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience an asset.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Organized and reliable individual with good communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Our work site environment is outdoors, noisy, and dusty. You will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will need to be able to bend, crouch, and kneel.
Language and Work HoursEnglish is the primary language of communication in our workplace. You will be required to work 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
