Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DZ Driver to join our Asphalt Division at Green Infrastructure Partners. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating hauling trucks loaded with asphalt, sand, aggregate, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Hauling Trucks: Safely operate hauling trucks loaded with asphalt, sand, aggregate, and other materials, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload Materials: Secure all loads, materials, and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy work environment and equipment, both interior and exterior, and perform mandatory daily pre-trips and post-trips inspections.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, in compliance with current laws and regulations.
  • Scheduling: Follow a schedule for pick-up and deliveries according to priority, verifying hauling material and weight.
  • Communication: Communicate with foremen or other equipment operators to ensure delivery of materials according to job specifications.
  • Health and Safety: Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of GIP Interpaving Limited Health & Safety Policy Program.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Monitor, service, and document equipment logs and inspections as per preventative maintenance and standard requirements.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines and carry out assignments to completion.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
  • Valid D(Z)/A(Z) Driver's License
  • Minimum 3 Years of Related Driving Experience
  • Understanding of CVOR Rules and Regulations
  • Ability to Work Independently and as a Team Member
  • Physical Ability to Operate a Vehicle Safely
  • Acceptable Driving Record (CVOR & Driver's Abstract Required)
  • Good Written and Communication Skills
