Job Overview:
Efficiently and safely manage a heavy-duty vehicle on designated transfer routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the vehicle in accordance with OSHA, DOT, and organizational standards
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Report any hazardous conditions or service requests
  • Engage in scheduled training sessions and meetings
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to enhance operational efficiency
  • Notify management of any incidents, accidents, or property damage
  • Address customer inquiries or concerns
  • Empty containers and ensure the site is left tidy
  • Properly position containers on customer premises

Requirements:
A. Education and Experience:

  • Education: No formal education required
  • Experience: Previous work experience is not necessary

B. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Possess a valid DZ or Class 3 license with air-brake endorsement
  • CDL certification is mandatory
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
  • Must have an acceptable driving record
