Job Title: Journeyperson Pipefitter

Job Summary:

FLINT Corp. is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson or 3rd/4th year Apprentice Pipefitter to join our team permanently. As a Pipefitter, you will perform a range of tasks, including threaded piping repairs, hydrotesting, valve replacement, and installation and removal of temporary piping for cleaning/degassing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Threaded piping repairs
  • Hydrotesting
  • Valve replacement – threaded and flanged
  • Installation and removal of temporary piping for cleaning/degassing
  • PSV removal and re-installation
  • Confined space entry for vessel servicing and prepping equipment for inspection
  • Assistance with control valve removal and re-installation
  • Completion of fugitive emission repairs

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitter ticket/certification
  • Valid CSTS-20, H2S Alive, CSO, and WHMIS safety tickets are mandatory
  • Interested in working out in the field
  • Adaptable and can work in a team environment
  • Can do careful and exact work
  • Ability to read and understand complex instructions
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
