At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Journeyperson to join our team for various project sites in the Province of Alberta.

This is an expression of interest for future opportunities within the Maintenance and Turnaround group.

As a Pipefitter, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems that transport water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating, and other processes.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of the functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Using testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Pipefitter/Steamfitter certification.
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Pipefitter, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used in pipefitting.
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Aerial Work Platform.
  • First Aid.
  • WHMIS.
