Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales associates and management staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Merchandise Management: Determine the types of merchandise to be sold, locate and select products for resale, and develop strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including in-store promotions, advertising, and social media campaigns.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make financial decisions to ensure the store's profitability.
- Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive excellent service, respond to customer complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service skills.
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: Adaptability, analytical, integrity, positive attitude, proactive, time management, client focus, judgement, organized, team player, and ability to multitask.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
