Position Overview
The Line Cook plays a crucial role in our kitchen operations, responsible for daily meal preparations and ensuring that our culinary standards are met consistently. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of various cooking techniques and be able to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly understand and adhere to all operational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Provide exceptional service by ensuring all guests feel welcomed and attended to with friendliness and courtesy.
- Consistently exceed guest expectations through attentive service and quality food.
- Assist fellow kitchen and service staff to maintain high customer service standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen equipment through regular inspections and adherence to maintenance protocols.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Punctually arrive for shifts in proper uniform and equipped with necessary tools.
- Perform opening, closing, and side duties as outlined in kitchen guidelines.
- Participate in cross-training for various kitchen roles as needed.
- Offer constructive feedback and suggestions to management to enhance operations.
- Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by management or team members to improve the guest experience.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar culinary role and possess a valid Food Handler's Certification.
