Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to Sodexo standards and guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and surrounding areas.
  • Prepare and cook daily food requirements under the supervision of a lead or supervisor.
  • Complete production logs, temperature logs, and other necessary documents.
  • Receive inventory, move, and lift food supplies according to policies.
  • Attend and complete trainings assigned online or in person.
  • Count inventory, help in ordering process, and monitor stock usage and waste.
  • Follow procedures and recipes in cooking or baking according to SOP.
  • Follow the cleaning schedule daily and weekly of equipment and designated areas.
  • Perform any other tasks requested by the supervisor.
  • Responsible for performing work according to safe work practices.

Requirements:

  • Previous cook experience.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with coworkers and other departments professionally.
  • Graduate of Culinary (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability for exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work under supervision and comply with standard procedures.
  • Must comply with any dress code requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Generally in an indoor setting.
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
  • Exposure to a warm/hot environment and heat/cold during support of outside activities.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
