Subject Matter Expert

SAIT's Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mass Timber Construction to create curriculum for Continuing Education.
About the Role:- Develop course materials, including course schedule, course outline, course description, assessments, engaging activities, resources, and slides for Mass Timber Construction.
- Ensure course materials promote learning and help measure and evaluate students' ability to achieve important, real-world competencies.
- Collaborate with a Product Strategist and Instructional Designer to create and review curriculum.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in Construction Management and Mass Timber Products and Construction.
- First-hand knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail in written communication and ability to organize and present written information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Previous teaching experience or experience developing or revising courses.
- Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) and online technologies.
