Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a tow truck to transport vehicles safely and efficiently. You will also be required to address customer complaints, coach colleagues on new methods, and perform various tasks related to vehicle recovery and transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques
  • Perform various tasks related to vehicle recovery and transportation, including towing, driving, and inspecting vehicles
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance and receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Judgement and ability to make decisions quickly
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Work Environment

As a Tow Truck Driver with Professional Towing Services Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals. You will be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to travel for extended periods and be willing to work in a physically demanding role.
