About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team at All Western Contracting Ltd. o/a All Western Contracting. As a key member of our exterior finishing team, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a durable and weather-resistant finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Plaster Application: Apply coats of plaster to exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques to achieve the desired texture and finish.
  • Curing and Finishing: Cure freshly plastered surfaces and apply a finish coat to create a smooth and durable finish.
  • Decorative Finishing: Create decorative designs and finishes in the plaster, as required.
  • Material Mixing: Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Ornamental Plastering: Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim to add a decorative touch to our exterior finishes.
  • Acoustic and Texture Finishing: Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings to create a unique and functional finish.
  • Exterior Finishing: Trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in stucco plastering or a related field is preferred.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
