About the Role:
PrairieCoast equipment is seeking a highly skilled Service Manager to lead our repair shop operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maximizing return on investment by optimizing department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow profitable service labor sales and exercise disciplined expense control.
- Attract, retain, and effectively engage department personnel.
- Manage service operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in Shop Service Department operations.
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups.
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
- Basic understanding of financial principles relative to Service Department operations.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
