Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Island View Place Care. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. If you are a caring and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including cleaning and disinfecting equipment and surfaces
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Transport patients to and from activities and appointments
  • Perform other duties as required to support patient care and comfort
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
