Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Blue Sky Home Care Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting independence and dignity. This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Transport patients to appointments and activities
  • Administer medications and perform other tasks as assigned by the healthcare team
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
