About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at B.C. Cafe Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ordering to minimize waste and ensure timely delivery of ingredients.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled and motivated kitchen staff.
  • Financial Management: Manage kitchen budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
