We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Jimmy's Kitchen Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, including storage and refrigeration units, are clean and organized.
- Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items according to company recipes and standards.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
- Place dishes in storage areas and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Supply Management
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Ensure all supplies are properly labeled and stored to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
- Waste Management
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure all waste is disposed of properly.
- Maintenance and Organization
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Perform other duties as required to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Language
- English is the primary language spoken in the kitchen.
- Work Hours
- 35 to 40 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a team of experienced professionals. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
