Position Overview
We are currently looking for an Automotive Repair Coordinator. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, preparing initial estimates, and developing comprehensive repair plans. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing customer experience and optimizing vehicle processing times while also being involved in quality assurance, insurance communications, and parts management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead daily operations to meet stakeholder goals in a safe, effective, and ethical manner.
  2. Assist in managing shop operations in accordance with company standards.
  3. Oversee daily production, workflow, and quality assurance within the shop.
  4. Utilize company dashboards to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently.
  5. Engage actively in daily production meetings.
  6. Apply thorough knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
  7. Identify and procure necessary parts following the completion of repair plans.
  8. Educate customers about the claims and repair processes.
  9. Maintain awareness of production timelines and communicate updates to customers as needed.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service during vehicle drop-off and pick-up.
  11. Demonstrate a proactive approach to vehicle diagnostics and safety checks.
  12. Check for vehicle recalls during the repair planning process.
  13. Review vehicle history using the management system.
  14. Implement strategies to minimize customer effort and enhance vehicle turnaround times.
  15. Collaborate with management and teams to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  16. Adhere to internal policies and procedures to ensure consistent application across the company.
  17. Contribute to the objective of closing all files promptly after vehicle delivery.
  18. Uphold company standards in safety and security.
  19. Promote the Craftsman Collision brand positively in all interactions.
  20. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. At least 1.5 years of relevant industry experience, including roles in sales, customer service, or leadership.
  2. Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  3. Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  4. Progress towards I-CAR Platinum certification is an asset.
  5. Proficiency in estimating software such as Mitchell Estimating, Audatex, and ALLDATA.
  6. Familiarity with management systems similar to Craftsman Management System.
  7. Knowledge of ADAS systems, vehicle calibrations, and emerging automotive technologies.
  8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with leadership and stakeholders.
  9. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  10. Demonstrated skills in time management, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  11. Customer service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
  12. Proficient in using Outlook and video conferencing tools, with a willingness to learn new applications.
  13. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  14. A valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record over the past three years.
  15. Legally authorized to work in Canada without restrictions.
