Role Overview

This position plays a vital role in assisting the BMO Global Asset Management Canada Distribution team across various sales channels, including retail, intermediary, and institutional sectors. The primary focus is on executing sales enablement strategies through effective communication, event coordination, content creation, and other value-added initiatives. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives that align with organizational goals, enhance client satisfaction, and ultimately drive sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Institutional Sales Support & Enablement (60%):

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation and logistics.
  • Oversee critical processes such as client documentation and annual coordination tasks.
  • Manage and execute events and sponsorships, ensuring successful client engagements.
  • Maintain organized shared resources and repositories.
  • Participate in various ad-hoc projects as needed.

Content Development (20%):

  • Lead the creation of non-product related sales materials, focusing on relevant industry topics.
  • Coordinate change communications that affect client relationships.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance educational offerings.

Change & Project Management (20%):

  • Oversee the production process for essential product commentary.
  • Establish effective partnerships within distribution channels to support initiatives.
  • Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of all project outputs.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of sales support and enablement strategies.
  • Act as a backup for key projects and initiatives within the team.
  • Align efforts with BMO's core values and customer-centric focus.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • University degree required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales support or related fields, preferably within the Financial Services sector.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and investment industry practices is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in event planning and content creation is essential.
