Job Title: Social Worker 2 - Youth Addictions and Concurrent Disorders Service

CAMH is seeking a full-time, permanent Social Worker 2 for the Youth Addictions and Concurrent Disorders Service. The successful candidate will perform assessments and provide individual, group, and family treatment to youth between the ages of 14 and 24 who are diagnosed with a concurrent disorder.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assessments and provide individual, group, and family treatment to youth with concurrent disorders
  • Work within an inter-professional team and participate in research, program development, and evaluation
  • Provide supervision to Masters of Social Work students and collaborate with faculties of social work on special projects
  • Contribute to the development of best practices unique to the social work field and serve as faculty on courses and workshops
Requirements:
  • Master's in Social Work from a recognized Social Work program
  • Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • Eligible for an academic cross-appointment
  • Formal training and demonstrated knowledge in concurrent disorders, harm reduction, and evidence-based treatment models
  • Three or more years of specialized clinical experience working with complex and challenging youth within this age group and their families
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language
  • Experience working in a multi-system, inter-professional environment with youth
