Job Title: Butcher - Retail or Wholesale

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team at Finch Super Market & Meat. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and prepare for sale
  • Weigh and price meat products for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts for sale
  • Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters
  • Grind meats for sale
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a butcher shop or meat department
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
