We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Project Development Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering and inspecting projects to ensure that works are in conformance with contract documents, approved plans, and specifications.
As a Project Development Engineer, you will liaise and coordinate with various approval authorities, consultants, and contractors with respect to on-site project activities. You will also maintain a strong, positive external profile for Newcastle Engineering and record and maintain daily field review reports and journals complete with photos and field test reports.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and inspect projects to ensure compliance with contract documents and specifications
- Liaise with approval authorities, consultants, and contractors to coordinate on-site project activities
- Maintain a positive external profile for Newcastle Engineering
- Record and maintain daily field review reports and journals
- Field review the installation of underground utilities
To be successful in this role, you will require experience in a civil engineering industry, with experience in municipal infrastructure design or construction being an asset. You will also need to have experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
