Key Responsibilities:- Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Delegate work to office support staff to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met
- Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation
- Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
- Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Train staff on new procedures and policies
- Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures
- Oversee payroll administration and plan and control budget and expenditures
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities
The Administration Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Language:The official language of this job is English.
Hours of Work:The Administration Officer will work 32 to 40 hours per week.
