Vij's Lantern Inc. is seeking a skilled Server - Food and Beverage Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide personalized service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Food and Beverage Service
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are served at the correct temperature and in a clean and sanitary environment.
- Teamwork and Communication
- Work collaboratively with other servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Administrative Tasks
- Balance cash and record sales accurately and efficiently.
- Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the dining area.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- Previous experience in a food and beverage service environment is an asset.
- Certifications and Licenses
- Serving It Right Certificate.
- Physical Demands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as trays and equipment.
