Regional Director, International Operations Job Description

As a key member of our International Accreditation team, the Regional Director, International Operations will lead and enable a team in the delivery of client services for the international accreditation program.

The successful candidate will drive a business plan with a strong focus on excellence in service delivery to foster client retention and market expansion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Planning and Execution: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.
  • Landscape Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and issues related to health care landscapes in various geographies and contexts.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure the successful execution and delivery of programs and services, monitoring and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Build strong relationships with staff, clients, partners, stakeholders, and operational committees.
  • Team Development: Lead and enable your team in the delivery of client services, including innovative ways to enhance existing and future service delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field such as International Relations, Healthcare Administration, and/or Business Administration.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience.
  • Strong transformative leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competency in continuous quality improvement.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of the international accreditation landscape.
  • Experience in leading senior health care professionals.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time.
