Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Bed Making and Linen Management: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closets.
  • Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Lost and Found and Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Trash and Recycling: Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care and Hygiene: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Laundry and Alterations: Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens.
  • Additional Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers' complaints or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
