About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Electro Motors Company Ltd. as a Motor Systems Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Test and observe electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment, troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Component Replacement: Replace or recondition shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.
  • Coil Assembly: Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils.
  • Balance and Testing: Perform static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors, test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, or other electrical apparatus to ensure proper performance.
Work Environment

This is a hands-on role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and manual dexterity. You will work in a noisy environment and be required to distinguish between colors.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
