Senior Director, IT ERP Product Management

At StandardAero, we're seeking a seasoned IT leader to drive the strategy and vision of our ERP systems across the enterprise. As the Senior Director of IT ERP Product Management, you'll be responsible for managing our company's strategic ERP systems, including configuration and design, as part of our ERP rollouts. You'll lead a team of ERP techno-functional experts, incorporating product management and Agile practices to accelerate value realization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of ERP techno-functional experts, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful ERP implementations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for ERP systems, aligning with the company's overall product strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Software Engineering and Project Management Office teams to ensure new capabilities are delivered aligned with the product strategy.
  • Administer the annual budget and control costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable with state-of-the-art products and recommend necessary changes.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to be used as enhancements or upgrades.
  • Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate initiative and be an active problem-solver, driving a Lean culture/mindset.
  • Develop an agile team and collaborate with other leaders to optimize scheduling to meet commitments.
  • Demonstrate effective conflict management and skillfully handle difficult interactions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related technical discipline desired or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • Experience managing ERP platforms such as Oracle e-Business Suite.
  • Thorough knowledge of agile methodologies, systems analysis, programming techniques, and design methods, data processing principles, theories, concepts, and terminology.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
  • International travel up to 15% of the time.
Preferred Characteristics:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  • Experience in global industrial enterprises.
