Job Title: Assistant Manager, Hotel

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team at Northern Rockies Lodge. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the General Manager in the overall management of the hotel, including supervising staff, managing budgets, and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control hotel expenses, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue.
  • Ensure that the hotel is maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a hotel management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
