Job Title: Hotel Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team at Northern Rockies Lodge. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of service and quality.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to staff to improve performance.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best rates and services for the hotel.
  • Manage front desk duties, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations for cost savings.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in hotel management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
