Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at TUNG AIR TRANSPORT LTD. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail business, ensuring smooth execution of tasks, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational plans to prioritize tasks and optimize workflow
  • Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve business objectives
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and supply chain coordination
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on operational performance and areas for improvement
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve productivity and product quality
  • Coordinate and assign work to staff, and review their progress to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational activities
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking stock levels and managing stockroom operations
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high levels of pressure
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads, with a maximum weight of 9 kg (20 lbs)
Work Environment:

The Operations Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Operations Supervisor will work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as required.
